The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Marcell Pécsi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcell Pécsi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcell Pécsi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Sainz made in the 14th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Camilo Franco however managed to control. In the 22nd minute of the match, Benito Laurin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 24 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sune Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 27th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Marcell Pécsi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcell Pécsi in the 44th minute of play. Marcell Pécsi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcell Pécsi came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquin Gayoso could save by the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Francisco Seco charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Seco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco got a free kick in the 51st minute. Francisco Seco came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sune Rudberg could save by the left post. With a little luck, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Sune Rudberg got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Adriano Schmidt was substituted for Cristian Paraense. The throw-in from Camilo Franco in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Flavinho Cabral. 64 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Marcell Pécsi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Camilo Covarrubias fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Camilo Covarrubias a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 67th minute. Benito Laurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s Marcell Pécsi. But to his dismay, Marcell Pécsi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Sune Rudberg to make any attempt to save it. 86 minutes into the match, ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Sune Rudberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Rüknettin Aysan came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Sune Rudberg in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Sune Rudberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ֆքօʀȶɨռɢ ʊǟɨ ʍʐƈ™ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Uruguay for a fine match.
