With a left leg Tanek Wojtyna saved FC Brzesko City from getting behind. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Brzesko City's Tanek Wojtyna got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbyszko Kajder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Cezary Pilarski made a great header on FC Brzesko City's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. When FC Brzesko City's Zbyszko Kajder in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Brzesko City. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Brzesko City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alphonso Davies didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Wojtyna came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbyszko Kajder's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cezary Pilarski was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Brzesko City's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Brzesko City's corner Cezary Pilarski fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. The audience cheered when Cezary Pilarski's long shot passed Julio Vera's right side. It was 1-1, 39 minutes into the match. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbyszko Kajder's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, FC Brzesko City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roch Noworolnik to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tanek Wojtyna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Cezary Pilarski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Wojtyna having to interfere. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Cezary Pilarski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Wojtyna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 68 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cezary Pilarski. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes FC Brzesko City got a freekick which was hit by Alphonso Davies. Alphonso Davies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Zbyszko Kajder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute Arkadiusz Kajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Arkadiusz Kajder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
