The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, CheR FC's Quentin Brookman got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 4th minute of play forced CheR FC's goalkeeper Aprígio Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute, CheR FC's Bernard Motowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to CheR FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Victor Clifford hit a great ball. The CheR FC fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when CheR FC's Marcos Lluis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lucio Peyo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Aprígio Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abram Sarmiento's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Aprígio Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play. Aprígio Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 39th minute of the match. When Axel Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Axel Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Axel Montenegro. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Marcos Lluis tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aprígio Montenegro, 2-1. With a little luck, CheR FC's Aprígio Montenegro got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colombia made a substitution. The supporters of Colombia booed when CheR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lei Kun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abram Secada who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Aprígio Montenegro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind CheR FC's goalkeeper Aprígio Montenegro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abram Secada got free with Aprígio Montenegro in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
