Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Martin Mutumba kicked off to start the match. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 2nd minute of the match. 3 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vykans Vikingar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcus Ekrot in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Revis in the 12th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Martin Mutumba sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 22nd minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Ekrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcus Ekrot came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 35th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Marcus Ekrot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Mutumba's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Dante Lacasa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Abdi Revis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vykans Vikingar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. When Luca Rouco fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Luca Rouco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 67th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcus Ekrot. Marcus Ekrot yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 83rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcus Ekrot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 86th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 94th minute of play. The Vykans Vikingar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
