In the 32nd minute, Darin Obreshkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zdeněk Vošahlík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of the match. FC Lions Levice's Zdeněk Vošahlík played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to FC Lions Levice getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bartolomej Baláž hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wang Si Fei was the one to do the kick off. FC Lions Levice's Zdeněk Vošahlík proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lions Levice from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FC Lions Levice getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Bartolomej Baláž hit a great ball. Zdeněk Vošahlík showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Wang Si Fei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Zdeněk Vošahlík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, FC Lions Levice's Zdeněk Vošahlík got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Tischler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Pavol Hospodár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Zdeněk Vošahlík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Tischler in the 91st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
