Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Tischler in the 34th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Wang Si Fei scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 1-0.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Tischler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Zdeněk Vošahlík made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 57th minute of play. Zdeněk Vošahlík was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-1. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Zdeněk Vošahlík threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zdeněk Vošahlík quite easily take care of the ball. Zdeněk Vošahlík made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miloš Semenník in the 79th minute of play. After 81 played minutes FC Lions Levice got a freekick which was hit by Wang Si Fei. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zdeněk Vošahlík showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of FC Lions Levice booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball.
