Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Videl Larrañaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Yeadon United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Buxton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Milosz Pozorski could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Videl Larrañaga in the 21st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dom Falkingham hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Christopher Buxton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Buxton in the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 41st minute of play forced Yeadon United's goalkeeper Per-Olof Brovall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Yeadon United's Videl Larrañaga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christopher Buxton to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Videl Larrañaga went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Milosz Pozorski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yeadon United made a substitution. Yves Bonheur replaced Kevin Nancy. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Videl Larrañaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Christopher Buxton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 71stth minute of the game Christopher Buxton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st match minute, Yeadon United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Bonheur to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Åke Persson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 96 minutes into the game, Yeadon United's Milosz Pozorski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Yeadon United fully deserved thier win.
