An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of play forced FC Lions Levice's goalkeeper Zdeněk Vošahlík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Zdeněk Vošahlík didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Sebastián Puig during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 18th minute of the game. One of Ecuador:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Lions Levice:s goal. After 20 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ján Faith who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on FC Lions Levice's corner Pavol Hospodár fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Tischler. Daniel Tischler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 35 minutes into the match, FC Lions Levice's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Zdeněk Vošahlík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes FC Lions Levice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zdeněk Vošahlík quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lions Levice's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zdeněk Vošahlík came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Lions Levice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michal Revesz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zdeněk Vošahlík. FC Lions Levice's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Miloš Semenník sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Zdeněk Vošahlík tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zdeněk Vošahlík. Zdeněk Vošahlík yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Kudlak in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wang Si Fei in the 60th minute of the match. Zdeněk Vošahlík took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Daniel Tischler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Lions Levice's Teodor Kardoš was substituted for Ján Faith. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. FC Lions Levice's Zdeněk Vošahlík proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lions Levice from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Daniel Tischler notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, FC Lions Levice's Zdeněk Vošahlík got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Miloš Semenník stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Miloš Semenník tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Kudlak in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Ivan Kudlak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Tischler came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Lions Levice were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
