Biala Gwiazda SSA's Radoslaw Pilipiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 10th minute of play. Radoslaw Pilipiec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 32nd minute of play forced Biala Gwiazda SSA's goalkeeper Radoslaw Pilipiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Radoslaw Pilipiec was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Krzysztof Literski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 52 minutes into the game, Konrad Fiszer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biala Gwiazda SSA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Mexico's Bautista Elvira was substituted for Lautaro Mancebo. After a rather tough play, Biala Gwiazda SSA's Konrad Fiszer got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Facundo Cadaval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it.
