Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dráuzio Pontes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráuzio Pontes. In the 5th minute, Falconara Albanese's Dráuzio Pontes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dráuzio Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falconara Albanese's Dráuzio Pontes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Dráuzio Pontes sent off a good shot on target. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráuzio Pontes in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Dráuzio Pontes scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 3-0. Dráuzio Pontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dráuzio Pontes's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Esteve Garin fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 32nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. In the 34th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Dráuzio Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Dráuzio Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Falconara Albanese's Dráuzio Pontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 41 minutes, Dráuzio Pontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falconara Albanese's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Pontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Dráuzio Pontes sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Pontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Garin struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Falconara Albanese. Falconara Albanese's Honorio Firman was substituted for Anier Omero. When Martin Goren came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Falconara Albanese fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Goren couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Kaarlo Menem had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaarlo Menem was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 68 minutes of play, Falconara Albanese's Kaarlo Menem made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Falconara Albanese booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Martin Goren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Goren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 86th minute, Kaarlo Menem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falconara Albanese fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Martin Goren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alexander Carballo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 93 minutes into the match, Martin Goren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Goren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Falconara Albanese's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
