Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joseph Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 47 played minutes Samba Fotboll U21 got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Holmberg.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Valentín Carvallo made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Moises Tafalla immediately put the ball in play. In the 56th minute, Joseph Holmberg made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Zé Roberto van Beek got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Wictor Gustavsson. If Zygmunt Koprowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Koprowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 74 minutes, Zygmunt Koprowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samba Fotboll U21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zygmunt Koprowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Oskar Gullesson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. 80 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Koprowski notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Koprowski in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Zygmunt Koprowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. If Zygmunt Koprowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Koprowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Samba Fotboll U21 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
