Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Momčilo Janič notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Momčilo Janič came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the San Marino İdman Yurdu defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ahmet Necdet Secavend. Though ot was a great shot Venezuela's keeper Jonathan Ferrant was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 31 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zhuang Bo Liang who took care of the corner kick. Keramettin İshak was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serter Usal. 42 minutes into the match, Keramettin İshak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Rigoberto Mina's late challenge caught a San Marino İdman Yurdu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Mina helped the player get up and apologised. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Zhuang Bo Liang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, San Marino İdman Yurdu's Keramettin İshak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Ahmet Necdet Secavend made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute. Ahmet Necdet Secavend came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind San Marino İdman Yurdu's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet Secavend, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Momčilo Janič kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. San Marino İdman Yurdu walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
