Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Henning Fjordskov sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the game, Henning Fjordskov lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. After a defensive mix-up in The Blues's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mira Bobo came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Blues's goalkeeper Mira Bobo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 12 played minutes The Blues got a freekick which was hit by Henning Fjordskov. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mira Bobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andre Gedsted got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Henning Fjordskov hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 26th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Fillip Horsdam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Thorkild Lindekær stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Thorkild Lindekær tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Blues's Mira Bobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the The Blues players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by The Blues's André Hurdle. But to his dismay, André Hurdle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henning Fjordskov in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andre Gedsted hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The Blues's attentive Aytuğ Taşdemir managed to snatch the ball when Alex Chicote made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, The Blues's Fillip Horsdam got a free kick in the 75th minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aytuğ Taşdemir hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henning Fjordskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When André Hurdle fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Blues's protests and gave André Hurdle a yellow card for diving instead. Venezuela made a substitution. Guillermo Espina replaced Guillermo Mariano. After 88 played minutes The Blues got a freekick which was hit by André Hurdle. Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Fillip Horsdam, made in the 89th minute of the game. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
