Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Léo Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 17th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Léo Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léo Sampaio came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Felix Montenegro. But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Léo Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. Léo Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play forced COURO COME FC's goalkeeper Léo Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after COURO COME FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Cristian Sancho managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 43 minutes into the match, COURO COME FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Léo Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Léo Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nildo Chaves to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Sampaio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Chaves in the 63rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Décio Veiga took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 70th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With his leg Léo Sampaio managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 79 minutes, Hieronim Rosiewicz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COURO COME FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to COURO COME FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hieronim Rosiewicz hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iuri Cardozo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Iuri Cardozo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. COURO COME FC's Anísio Diniz was substituted for Hieronim Rosiewicz.
