Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Snorlax FC's Tibalt Bruna got a free kick in the 7th minute. Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Snorlax FC's Francisco Hernández got a free kick in the 19th minute. Tancredo Manguyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Tibalt Bruna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Snorlax FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tancredo Manguyague having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Tancredo Manguyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tancredo Manguyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tancredo Manguyague. Snorlax FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felix Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tancredo Manguyague came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 45th match minute, Snorlax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Hernández to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tancredo Manguyague showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Mario Jesus Allu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Ecuador were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Jesus Allu was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibalt Bruna in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute of the match Mario Jesus Allu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. After 57 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Tibalt Bruna. Tancredo Manguyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tibalt Bruna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Snorlax FC from getting a goal against them. After 72 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Juan Sebastián Puig. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Mario Jesus Allu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snorlax FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Jesus Allu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibalt Bruna in the 77th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Juan Sebastián Puig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tancredo Manguyague made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 92nd minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Tancredo Manguyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Daniel Zorita took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tancredo Manguyague to make any attempt to save it.
