Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oliver Bierhoff took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Oliver Bierhoff managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ADM Taquaras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Bierhoff was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Oliver Bierhoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeremias Moreno saved ADM Taquaras from getting behind. The supporters of Colombia booed when ADM Taquaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denílson Tepedino hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Luis Cazalla hit a great ball. Pascual Carballar hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With 54 minutes on the clock, Daniel de Godoi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of ADM Taquaras:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Colombia:s goal. ADM Taquaras:s Jeremias Moreno showed great skill when he stopped Axel Montenegro:s penalty. Tales De Mileto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 60th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremias Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celsinho Perez in the 65th minute of play. If Denílson Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Cléber Palmeira made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. 79 minutes in the game, Kevin Mastache fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeremias Moreno having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Tepedino came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after ADM Taquaras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. 97 minutes into the game, Tales De Mileto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ADM Taquaras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. ADM Taquaras's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
