Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Momčilo Janič, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Keramettin İshak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by San Marino İdman Yurdu's Keramettin İshak. But to his dismay, Keramettin İshak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 26th minute of the match, Lisandro Rojas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcos Cotilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Serter Usal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Serter Usal sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Momčilo Janič in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Serter Usal made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 44 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Momčilo Janič came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Ahmet Necdet Secavend made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Berganza in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Erberk Zülfikar came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Necdet Secavend showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Ahmet Necdet Secavend made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 57th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serter Usal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the last second Ahmet Necdet Secavend throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomas Berganza in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Momčilo Janič came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serter Usal in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Keramettin İshak notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ahmet Necdet Secavend tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, San Marino İdman Yurdu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çelebi Yuvakuran to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil, 77 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keramettin İshak in the 78th minute of play. Keramettin İshak hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keramettin İshak in the 88th minute of play. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ahmet Necdet Secavend tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
