Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jose Policarpio started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marc-André Grifoll narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 6 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Coutinho in the 10th minute of the match. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-André Grifoll having to interfere. Marc-André Grifoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 23rd minute of play. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marc-André Grifoll having to make a save. A collision led to La Mora CAT getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alarico Trinidad hit a great ball. Marc-André Grifoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 30th minute of the match. After some careless play in the La Mora CAT defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marc-André Grifoll. The La Mora CAT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marc-André Grifoll should have stopped the shot. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Du Jian Chen scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-1. Marc-André Grifoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 40th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc-André Grifoll. La Mora CAT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

Marc-André Grifoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 50th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Jian Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 61st minute Severino Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-André Grifoll having to interfere. Nabucodonosor Rallo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Marc-André Grifoll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tato Feria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes, Jose Policarpio made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mexico's Dante Lacasa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Coutinho in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Marc-André Grifoll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. 86 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Marc-André Grifoll had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by La Mora CAT's Severino Coutinho. But to his dismay, Severino Coutinho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Sebastian Bergdal replaced Ronaldinho Gaucho. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
