Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yüksel Zeyrek lost his temper 10 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Joel Gaona shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Serhan Şemsifer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to OSMANİYE FK 1996 getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Ahmet Vefik Nasip hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serhan Şemsifer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Serhan Şemsifer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. OSMANİYE FK 1996's Serhan Şemsifer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when 姜响宇 came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when 姜响宇 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 48th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Serhan Şemsifer quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 54 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nathan Cannavaro was slow to take the kick. During this time OSMANİYE FK 1996's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Nathan Cannavaro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Facundo Cadaval got free with Serhan Şemsifer in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Micki Alting stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Micki Alting tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If 姜响宇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serhan Şemsifer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serhan Şemsifer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Serhan Şemsifer was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Serhan Şemsifer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 76th minute. Namık Kemal Dinçay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serhan Şemsifer having to interfere. If Namık Kemal Dinçay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serhan Şemsifer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serhan Şemsifer was a little too slow when Joel Gaona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-1. OSMANİYE FK 1996's Serhan Şemsifer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OSMANİYE FK 1996:s goal. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Serhan Şemsifer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mexico players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
