An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play forced FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s goalkeeper Humberto Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Eliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. 石克枫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ion Buta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s Veniamin Chatziantoniou. But to his dismay, Veniamin Chatziantoniou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM- booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s 石克枫 got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joshua Secada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humberto Eliu having to make a save. 石克枫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Nalo Bermejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 石克枫 in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Eliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Venegas got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Nalo Bermejo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ion Buta struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-. FC Dragonii BaiaMare -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
