Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Curacao's Kyle Davies started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Gora in the 3rd minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Gora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as LA MERCED F.C.'s Casimiro Gora slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bruno Barrett. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. 11 minutes into the game, Casimiro Gora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bruno Barrett. Casimiro Gora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanley Wallace in the 20th minute of play forced LA MERCED F.C.'s goalkeeper Jimeno Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanley Wallace in the 32nd minute of play. Albano Nahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Barrett having to interfere. Bruno Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes LA MERCED F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Fidele. In the 41st minute of the match Curacao got a corner. LA MERCED F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kyle Davies ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Curacao's corner Kyle Davies fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jimeno Rius quite easily take care of the ball. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Galindo in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Casimiro Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA MERCED F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Gora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osvaldo Oskitz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Bruno Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA MERCED F.C.. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Casimiro Gora to make the kick off. Maximo Christobal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Bruno Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes, Kyle Davies mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curacao and the LA MERCED F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Davies. Casimiro Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute, Osvaldo Oskitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. The LA MERCED F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when LA MERCED F.C.'s Casimiro Gora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Kyle Davies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Clemente Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Gora in the 78th minute of play forced Curacao's goalkeeper Bruno Barrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When LA MERCED F.C.'s Casimiro Gora in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Curacao's goalie prevented a goal. After 80 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Troy Kennedy. After 82 played minutes Curacao got a freekick which was hit by Stanley Wallace. Bruno Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Gora in the 85th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Casimiro Gora in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Barrett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute, Casimiro Gora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruno Barrett was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. When the referee ended the match the LA MERCED F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
