GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Pardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bogdan Babicki hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Krzysztof Prus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 38th minute of play forced GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's goalkeeper Jan Turek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Paraguay's Ivan Prats quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Norbert Mikulski, made in the 66th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Krzysztof Prus came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Turek having to make a save. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jan Turek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Jan Turek got control of the ball when Jaime Pardo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hector Covarrubias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. After a rather tough play, GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ's Dominik Turak got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Jan Turek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 85th minute of play. GKS OLIMPIA GRUDZIĄDZ succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Paraguay had controlled the match.
