Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 俞晨骏 made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 俞晨骏 came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 87th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éder Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
