The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Bandeira in the 7th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Veiga in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Rolf Hamberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 15 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. In the 22ndth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cassandros Elite Team's Olavo Pinto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Cassandros Elite Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cassandros Elite Team's Jairo Veiga got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st play minute Josué Pedroso came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolf Hamberg to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Josué Pedroso came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Olavo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Hamberg in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Pinto made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Josué Pedroso scored 3-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 74th minute Emílio Bandeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panit Varela's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panit Varela helped the player get up and apologised. Panit Varela hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match Tomas Illescas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olavo Pinto skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Cassandros Elite Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Bandeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolf Hamberg's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olavo Pinto having to make a save. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Olavo Pinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolf Hamberg took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Cassandros Elite Team's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
