Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Téo Mello started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Cup2's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Eliseo Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Mexico's Luca Rouco was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliseo Moreno in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Galin Hadzhiyski during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Moreno having to interfere. In the 16th minute, William Saliba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Moreno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 21st minute Galin Hadzhiyski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mladen Pashov who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Valeri Hadzhisotirov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimcho Fuskov in the 26th minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galin Hadzhiyski in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute Dimcho Fuskov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 41st minute of play forced Cup2's goalkeeper Eliseo Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Joel Gaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Dimcho Fuskov hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Eliseo Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 56th minute of play. When Martin Ødegaard fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cup2's protests and gave Martin Ødegaard a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Cup2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Ødegaard to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliseo Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. William Saliba kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Cup2's Eliseo Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 74th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Cup2's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Eliseo Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Cup2's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Eliseo Moreno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eliseo Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 88th minute. Mladen Pashov kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro Ortiz in the 96th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
