Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leontin Voinescu. Leontin Voinescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 6thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hope AFC's Leontin Voinescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Narcis Bobocea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hope AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narcis Bobocea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Gilesindo in the 10th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 19th minute of play forced Hope AFC's goalkeeper Leontin Voinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leontin Voinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 27th minute of the match. Leontin Voinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play forced Hope AFC's goalkeeper Leontin Voinescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th match minute, Hope AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorin Miulescu to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Leontin Voinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Leontin Voinescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. A collision led to Hope AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Dorin Miulescu hit a great ball. After 66 minutes, Vlad Ioanițiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hope AFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hope AFC's Vlad Ioanițiu got a free kick in the 66th minute. Leontin Voinescu made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Dorin Miulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Hannes Ekrot was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabian Gilesindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Leontin Voinescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 87th minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Ciocoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hope AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
