Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Luca Zorita heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 27th minute Melih Şahan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Melih Şahan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. After a rather tough play, Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Yıldıray Kudsi got a free kick in the 44th minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melih Şahan in the 46th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Melih Şahan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo's late challenge caught a Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Mancebo helped the player get up and apologised. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdi Mehmet Kayaer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Korkutalp Onkal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 66th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Korkutalp Onkal. Korkutalp Onkal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK made a substitution. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's attentive Fazıl Hüsnü Batı managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. Melih Şahan hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Orbay Sadir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sadikköy Erdoğan FK.
