Xavier Angel Trujillo made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Halil Okaner. In the 30thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Araucampeón Retirado's Emiliano Manfredi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 34 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Manfredi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Araucampeón Retirado's Emiliano Manfredi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 38th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Halil Okaner in the 42nd minute. Emiliano Manfredi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luz Tejedor went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

A throw-in in the 51st minute of the game was made by Leandro Mazuste with Moisés Villarroel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Emiliano Manfredi made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Araucampeón Retirado's Emiliano Manfredi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Araucampeón Retirado from getting a goal against them. With his leg Emiliano Manfredi managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Peru's Julian Murillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julian Murillo spun around in front of the goal 59 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Araucampeón Retirado's goal. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Emiliano Manfredi to make any attempt to save it. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halil Okaner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Manfredi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 70th minute of the match. When Araucampeón Retirado's Halil Okaner in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peru's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the game, Xavier Angel Trujillo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Julian Murillo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Emiliano Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Emiliano Manfredi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Azevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Azevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th minute, Tiago Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Azevedo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Rafael Gallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emiliano Manfredi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Araucampeón Retirado.
