Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Lauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilhelm Widberg made a great header on Vikingos FC's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. 13 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Lauro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares, 2-0. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sebastián Sosa. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 25th minute of play forced Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vladimiro Lauro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sebastián Sosa made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Torm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vikingos FC were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Colombia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Per-Olof Vallmark took the corner. After taking down the ball on Vikingos FC's corner Per-Olof Vallmark fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Lauro in the 78th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Lauro in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Vladimiro Lauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Vladimiro Lauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vikingos FC's Victor Abaurre was substituted for Roque Vito. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vikingos FC had won after a very even match.
