Leandro Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Leandro Soares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-0. Mitchel Dijkstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Leandro Soares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 43rd minute Fc Benefica were awarded a corner. Leandro Soares went to the cornerflag to take it. Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Axel Montenegro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Mitchel Dijkstra 52 minutes into the match. Mitchel Dijkstra was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Axel Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Axel Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 65th minute of play. After 68 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leandro Soares who took care of the corner kick. Mitchel Dijkstra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abram Secada showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 69 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Leandro Soares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Benefica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Mitchel Dijkstra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. After 84 minutes of play, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mitchel Dijkstra saved Fc Benefica from getting behind. In the 93rd minute Leandro Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leandro Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
