Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bai Hong Ao in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demiralp Bintuğ saved AC DeMiRHaN from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AC DeMiRHaN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nathaniel Cedillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. AC DeMiRHaN's Demiralp Bintuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute Gong Sha Zhou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demiralp Bintuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC DeMiRHaN the free kick. AC DeMiRHaN's Eduardo Hinkle was substituted for Eraldo Tammaro. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes, AC DeMiRHaN's Gösta Junior shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC DeMiRHaN reached it. In the 45th minute, Emil Dulemba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulu İcabi was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, AC DeMiRHaN's Demiralp Bintuğ got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduardo Hinkle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Cedillo in the 59th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bai Hong Ao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Demiralp Bintuğ made a huge save. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bai Hong Ao went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
