Rolando Sindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Rolando Sindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 22nd minute of the match. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Belo Huarte. But to his dismay, Belo Huarte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alberto Tafalla scored 1-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Sindo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 31st minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Sindo having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Belo Huarte, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rolando Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Belo Huarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 2-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Artzai Pacheco made the kick off in the second half. Rolando Sindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A well-hit corner resulted in Macos Graciani heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 62nd minute Luis Molina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artzai Pacheco in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arkham Asylum C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Rolando Sindo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 庞松树 in the 84th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Araoz Guasch, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 庞松树 kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Araoz Guasch in the 89th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Arkham Asylum C.F.'s Misael Vazquez got a free kick in the 91st minute.
