Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Shawn Romero started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Luca Espinar. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Shawn Romero came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Cosmos Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shawn Romero couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Shawn Romero hit a great ball. The supporters of Cosmos Soccer Club booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jarrett Rosenberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jarrett Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant McKay to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espiga missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 26 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jarrett Rosenberg right hand side. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Shawn Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarrett Rosenberg having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Donovan Heath hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Grant McKay fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cosmos Soccer Club's protests and gave Grant McKay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, one of Cosmos Soccer Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cosmos Soccer Club. Cosmos Soccer Club:s Jarrett Rosenberg showed great skill when he stopped Edmundo Espiga:s penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Donovan Heath hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The supporters of Honduras booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donovan Heath didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes, Shawn Romero made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jarrett Rosenberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Shawn Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 played minutes Cosmos Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Heath. 70 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Jarrett Rosenberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant McKay kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Jarrett Rosenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 76th minute. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cosmos Soccer Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. When Grant McKay was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. A collision led to Cosmos Soccer Club getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Grant McKay hit a great ball. Ivan Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Edmundo Espiga took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Jarrett Rosenberg to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Honduras's Jarrett Rosenberg threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edmundo Espiga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jarrett Rosenberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shawn Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
