Mateo Leguizamo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Iakovos Trichias fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katsilimaνika's protests and gave Iakovos Trichias a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Katsilimaνika's Iakovos Trichias got a free kick in the 4th minute. After 11 minutes, Joshua Curbelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Katsilimaνika players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joshua Curbelo hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Marinos Kisemlis, 11 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Marinos Mouratidis tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marinos Kisemlis, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Ricardo Zorita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marinos Mouratidis in the 19th minute. Marinos Mouratidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoris Moustakidis in the 22nd minute of the match. Katsilimaνika's Kostas Nikolaidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Marinos Mouratidis could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Ricardo Zorita however easily saved by the left post. In the 33rd minute Moises Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Nikolaidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Paris Tsiaris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Katsilimaνika's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Salvador the free kick. After 38 played minutes Katsilimaνika got a freekick which was hit by Paris Tsiaris. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Kisemlis in the 42nd minute of the match. Katsilimaνika's Kostas Nikolaidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 43rd minute of play. Kostas Nikolaidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Moises Fernandino made a kick off. When Nestoras Tsatsoulis came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Katsilimaνika fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestoras Tsatsoulis couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marinos Kisemlis in the 56th minute of the match. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Nikolaidis having to interfere. Katsilimaνika's Kostas Nikolaidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 80th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Kostas Nikolaidis in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Kisemlis in the 85th minute of play. Grigoris Moustakidis's late challenge caught a El Salvador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grigoris Moustakidis helped the player get up and apologised. Mateo Leguizamo kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
