Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Katsilimaνika's Marinos Kisemlis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Marinos Kisemlis, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save El Salvador from getting a goal against them. In the 10th minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Katsilimaνika booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Katsilimaνika's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Fernandino came free, but Kostas Nikolaidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rubio to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Moises Fernandino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Nikolaidis was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 25 minutes into the game, Marinos Mouratidis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Katsilimaνika defense, Moises Fernandino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kostas Nikolaidis. The Katsilimaνika fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kostas Nikolaidis should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Jesus Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Fernandino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Nikolaidis having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Nestoras Tsatsoulis sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Marinos Kisemlis came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of El Salvador booed when Katsilimaνika was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Dimakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marinos Kisemlis in the 56th minute of play. When Moises Fernandino came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Fernandino couldn't finish the play. Grigoris Moustakidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. Marco Tamayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kostas Nikolaidis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Tamayo ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Katsilimaνika's Kostas Nikolaidis got control of the ball when Moises Fernandino tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 minutes Katsilimaνika's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mateo Leguizamo who took care of the corner kick. In the 84th minute, Jorge Magrina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Loukas Adamos fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katsilimaνika's protests and gave Loukas Adamos a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Katsilimaνika had won after a very even match.
