Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dimitris Koudas started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Olympiacos FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takis Nestoriou came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Takis Nestoriou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of the match. Olympiacos FC's Takis Nestoriou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Nestoriou having to interfere. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Takis Nestoriou having to make a save. Takis Nestoriou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Olympiacos FC's Fanis Schinas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Nestoriou having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Takis Nestoriou. Takis Nestoriou dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Alexis Dellios charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexis Dellios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 54 played minutes Olympiacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Dellios. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Takis Nestoriou having to interfere. Olympiacos FC made a substitution. Miltiadis Tsiranidis replaced Grigoris Plexioudas. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to a score. 0-3 in the 61st minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Takis Nestoriou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olympiacos FC's Takis Nestoriou proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Olympiacos FC from getting a goal against them. Takis Nestoriou came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Takis Nestoriou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 93rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Olympiacos FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Olympiacos FC.
