Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Manos Labrou hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Koper's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's David Mantu got a free kick in the 5th minute. Cveto Novinec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 7th minute of play. Cveto Novinec came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Uruguay's Francisco Seco. But to his dismay, Francisco Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Francisco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cveto Novinec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 17th minute, David Mantu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cveto Novinec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Minas Markomichalis in the 22nd minute. Minas Markomichalis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 23rd playminute. If Manos Labrou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manos Labrou in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Gayoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaime Cazalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Ekaitz Sirvent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 45 played minutes Jaime Cazalla shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for FC Koper's Cveto Novinec to catch but Jaime Cazalla was lucky. It became 2-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Minas Markomichalis to strike the kick off in the second half. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Cveto Novinec made a huge save. In the 53rd minute, Manos Labrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Koper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Minas Markomichalis in the 70th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Koper booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Escribano in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cveto Novinec saved FC Koper from getting behind. FC Koper's Cveto Novinec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save FC Koper from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Camilo Franco heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 84th minute, Maximiliano Escribano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cveto Novinec. The goal made the score 3-3.
