After a rather tough play, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Vincent Dry got a free kick in the 10th minute. ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Alan Tetley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 12th minute of play. Xavier Zoido hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wally Scorfield, made in the 17th minute of the game. ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Alan Tetley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Juan Diego Tenorio had to leave the field with a concussion. Paraguay's Marco Romero was substituted for Juan Diego Tenorio. In the 24th minute, Owen Bishop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Alan Tetley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Covarrubias in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Jaime Pardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dom Kyle fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's protests and gave Dom Kyle a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's Dom Kyle got a free kick in the 36th minute. Jaime Pardo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Covarrubias didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Jaime Pardo made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dom Kyle in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Damion Stride hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alan Tetley made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Hector Covarrubias sent off a good shot on target. Primitivo Escribano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Marty Fearns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damion Stride kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Howard Walters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Owen Bishop made in the 71st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Howard Walters. In the 71st minute, Dom Kyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Paraguay booed when ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damion Stride didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Paraguay's Jaime Pardo in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ᗩᑎᗩᕼᗴᎥᗰ ᗪᑌᑕᛕᔕ's goalie prevented a goal. Brandon Parrott was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 94 minutes into the match. Damion Stride kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Paraguay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
