Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ladislav Lomnický having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavol Rybnický in the 12th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UFC Pivnica's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislav Lomnický came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislav Záruba's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ľubomír Smatana came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind UFC Pivnica's goalkeeper Ladislav Lomnický, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ľubomír Smatana got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, UFC Pivnica's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Ladislav Lomnický reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pavol Rybnický went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ladislav Lomnický saved UFC Pivnica from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ľubomír Smatana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. UFC Pivnica's Ľubomír Smatana got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 3-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Pavol Rybnický elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ľubomír Smatana in the 65th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to UFC Pivnica getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ľubomír Smatana hit a great ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ľubomír Smatana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ladislav Lomnický was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Stanislav Záruba struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UFC Pivnica. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ladislav Lomnický came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UFC Pivnica fully deserved thier win.
