In the 9th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Romeu Marques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 13th minute of the match. Romeu Marques came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Romeu Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romeu Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Planet Caravan's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto Queirós to make the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Romeu Marques made a huge save. Hudson dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Romeu Marques made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Planet Caravan's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Marques came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilvan Quirino went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Queirós in the 83rd minute of the match. Romeu Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 84th minute of play. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeu Marques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
