En avant de guingamp were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pan Xiang Kuan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Diego Jehan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 25th minute En avant de guingamp were awarded a corner. Pan Xiang Kuan went to the cornerflag to take it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Antônio Carlos Almeida took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ni Jun Liang's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 40th minute, Ni Jun Liang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Ni Jun Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shi Guo Wen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Almeida in the 53rd minute of the match. After 54 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pan Xiang Kuan who took care of the corner kick. Shi Guo Wen made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Carlos Almeida in the 59th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Ni Jun Liang sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. In the 72nd match minute, En avant de guingamp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denizhan Ünüvar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ni Jun Liang in the 74th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ni Jun Liang in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 80 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pan Xiang Kuan who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on En avant de guingamp's corner Pan Xiang Kuan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Almeida came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, En avant de guingamp's Denizhan Ünüvar got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Antônio Carlos Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pan Xiang Kuan who took care of the corner kick.
