Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lorenzo Osasun started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lorenzo Osasun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-0. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gernando Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Osasun in the 18th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa was a little too slow when Lorenzo Osasun got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gernando Guerra having to interfere. After 29 played minutes A.F. Pindamonhangaba got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Paiva. Lautaro Mancebo scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gernando Guerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Luís Gustavo Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Gernando Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla suffered a sore thigh after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 54 minutes, Carlinhos Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.F. Pindamonhangaba and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mexico's Xavier Seco was substituted for Alberto Tafalla. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Osasun in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to A.F. Pindamonhangaba getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ronaldão Mineiro hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Ulisses Matorin got a free kick in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Mexico's Xavier Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gernando Guerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Cunha in the 70th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in A.F. Pindamonhangaba's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gernando Guerra came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Xavier Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gernando Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gernando Guerra in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gernando Guerra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juninho Paiva hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Osasun might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lorenzo Osasun ran back to his position shaking his head. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Osasun in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the A.F. Pindamonhangaba defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gernando Guerra. The A.F. Pindamonhangaba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gernando Guerra should have stopped the shot. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Gernando Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save A.F. Pindamonhangaba from getting a goal against them. Gernando Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than A.F. Pindamonhangaba.
