After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Xinto Carreiras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Buceo's supporters rose to their feet, but Xinto Carreiras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joseba Diez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bağlıca Çimen Spor's goalkeeper Joseba Diez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Juan Sartori hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes Bağlıca Çimen Spor got a freekick which was hit by Hakkı Deniz Seylab. In the 12th match minute, Bağlıca Çimen Spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakkı Deniz Seylab to maneuver through the defense. Máximo Correia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Acarer in the 15th minute of play. Sporting Buceo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xinto Carreiras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charly Good to maneuver through the defense. Xinto Carreiras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute Xinto Carreiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joseba Diez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joseba Diez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xinto Carreiras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rainer Viigipuu got free with Máximo Correia in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xinto Carreiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseba Diez having to interfere. Hakkı Deniz Seylab made in the 70th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rainer Viigipuu. A throw-in in the 77th minute of the game was made by Hakkı Deniz Seylab with Ali Kürşat Ergüç as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Duro Back hit a great ball. Xinto Carreiras struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Joseba Diez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Buceo. In the 83rd minute Black Jøker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Xinto Carreiras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Buceo from getting a goal against them. Both players had fought hard during the second half to keep the score at 0-0. The tie meant more entertainment for the crowd as the match moved into extra-time.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Bağlıca Çimen Spor's Rainer Viigipuu started the play with his kick off. The supporters of Bağlıca Çimen Spor booed when Sporting Buceo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 101 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Aureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 104 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Rainer Viigipuu came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joseba Diez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xinto Carreiras in the 106th minute of the match. Xinto Carreiras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 112th minute of the match, but Joseba Diez made a huge save. The first half of extra-time was a real thriller. Both teams had created chances, but they were still tied when the whistle blew. The players were able to take a short breather during the short break.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Xinto Carreiras did a quick kick off. In the 118th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bağlıca Çimen Spor's goalkeeper Joseba Diez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 127th minute, Hakkı Deniz Seylab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The game was still level after extra-time. The match had to be settled by penalties!

In the 136th minute there was a penalty for Bağlıca Çimen Spor. Black Jøker stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Máximo Correia. 0-2. The referee gave Sporting Buceo a penalty, 140 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Segundo Aureo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bağlıca Çimen Spor's Joseba Diez. 1-2.
