Frode Olavesen kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 10th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Papillon AC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Pacho. Ceferino Quinteros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean Van Damme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Juan-Ramón Verón could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Jean Van Damme however easily saved by the left post. Juan-Ramón Verón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean Van Damme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan-Ramón Verón in the 23rd minute of play. Ramiro Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Birila in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Zosimo Vadillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Berserkers FC Ψ got a freekick which was hit by Olliver Van Meirhaeghe. Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zosimo Vadillo in the 35th minute of play. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Birila in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Medero Medina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Berserkers FC Ψ's Ramiro Gabrio. Ramiro Gabrio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Medero Medina struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ramiro Gabrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papillon AC. Berserkers FC Ψ's Giovani Lo Celso was substituted for Radowit Furlit. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Birila in the 63rd minute of play forced Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papillon AC's Jean Van Damme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Ramón Verón in the 65th minute of play. Zosimo Vadillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Gabrio having to interfere. In the 76th minute Gustavo Birila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Gabrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gustavo Birila came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Papillon AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Birila couldn't finish the play. When Papillon AC's Gustavo Birila in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Berserkers FC Ψ's goalie prevented a goal.

Papillon AC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
