Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Gustavo Cunha got free with Julio Vera in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Gustavo Cunha in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. In the 10th minute of the match A.F. Pindamonhangaba got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ciriaco Lekubegi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Adalberto Valadares to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 14th match minute, A.F. Pindamonhangaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Osasun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gernando Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Gustavo Cunha in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match A.F. Pindamonhangaba got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pindamonhangaba's Gernando Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when A.F. Pindamonhangaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juninho Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Osasun was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Lorenzo Osasun made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 56 minutes, Luís Gustavo Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.F. Pindamonhangaba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gernando Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 64th minute, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gernando Guerra. Gernando Guerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 68thth minute of the game Luís Gustavo Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gernando Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gernando Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Luís Gustavo Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the A.F. Pindamonhangaba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Cunha couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Gernando Guerra however easily saved by the left post. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by A.F. Pindamonhangaba's Luís Gustavo Cunha. But to his dismay, Luís Gustavo Cunha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Manfredo Pinho hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Lorenzo Osasun charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Osasun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lorenzo Osasun hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
