Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Maden FC's Balamir Kamuran started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Maden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Daniel Hontoria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maden FC's Gökmen Avşar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Leoz in the 8 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Carballo in the 9th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maden FC's attentive Gökmen Avşar managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. In the 15th minute Balamir Kamuran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Maden FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Octavio Carballo hit a great ball. Maden FC's Daniel Hontoria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Hontoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Maden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Daniel Hontoria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Balamir Kamuran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 39th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Hontoria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Maden FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 41 played minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Hontoria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mexico reached it. Maden FC's Gökmen Avşar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 44th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Maden FC's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Hontoria came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Daniel Hontoria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Rouco in the 54th minute of the match. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Daniel Hontoria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. The supporters of Maden FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Leoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Octavio Carballo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Daniel Hontoria when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 72 minutes of play, Maden FC's Arif Ozan Sağınç made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Hontoria was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 75 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Leonardo Leoz in the 77th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Maden FC's Gökmen Avşar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 80th minute of play forced Maden FC's goalkeeper Daniel Hontoria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Daniel Hontoria came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 85th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Hontoria made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Mexico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
