Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cassius Byrne started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's Furo Furenbrink sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, S.C. Ferrari's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Bernardo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 13th minute of play forced S.C. Ferrari's goalkeeper Bernardo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Furo Furenbrink blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Bernardo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Diego Bradley. The audience thought a goal was coming when Furo Furenbrink got free with Marco Day in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Duarte was slow to take the kick. During this time S.C. Ferrari's players had a chance to rest. The corner led S.C. Ferrari's Carlos Duarte to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When S.C. Ferrari's Patrick Angelsø in 27 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Marco Day guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The supporters of USA booed when S.C. Ferrari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Mosquera didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furo Furenbrink in the 32nd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cassius Byrne, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Monty Rogers in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Lima saved S.C. Ferrari from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Bernardo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Edward Mcdonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bernardo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Monty Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Gergely Bollobás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. S.C. Ferrari's Bernardo Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save S.C. Ferrari from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Sam Campbell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Lima was relentless in the 89th minute of the game.
