Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Burris in the 5th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donovan Burris, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The FC Štitáre fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when FC Štitáre's Donovan Burris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donovan Burris in the 12th minute of play. Rune Aronsson kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, FC Štitáre's Donovan Burris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 18th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Minko Savov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donovan Burris in the 24th minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Devan Eiø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Donovan Burris sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donovan Burris made a kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Štitáre got a freekick which was hit by Rune Aronsson. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devan Eiø in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Burris in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Donovan Burris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Agustin Geleberto was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donovan Burris in the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Štitáre getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Minko Savov hit a great ball. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donovan Burris in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 75 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Donovan Burris came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Štitáre fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
