Ni Guang Yong was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Eliseo Mina capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eliseo Mina really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. A collision led to Бенковски Тетевен getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Stoyo Dunov hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ni Guang Yong. Ni Guang Yong yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
