The corner led Mexico's Luca Rouco to fire away a dangerous shot which Dobri Koks despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mieszko Borkowski. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute Fifth Chicken were awarded a corner. Mieszko Borkowski went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Alberto Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edílson Souza was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Edílson Souza made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobri Koks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Borkowski in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Fifth Chicken got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Wodaszak. 59 minutes into the game, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dobri Koks made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fifth Chicken's Kazimierz Sliwinski was substituted for Herbert Bobrowski. After 65 minutes of play, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dobri Koks was left in no man's land by his defense there! 67 minutes into the game, one of Fifth Chicken:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 68 minutes, Mexico's Joel Gaona got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dobri Koks. When Cezary Bartochowski fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fifth Chicken's protests and gave Cezary Bartochowski a yellow card for diving instead. Cezary Bartochowski kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edílson Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fifth Chicken's Kazimierz Siekierski was substituted for Krzysztof Dziewedik. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 79th minute of play forced Fifth Chicken's goalkeeper Dobri Koks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fifth Chicken's Dobri Koks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Sten Granström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
